Having spent a decade working abroad in London and Melbourne, she brings a wealth of knowledge from both public and private hand therapy settings. In London, she gained extensive experience managing acute hand trauma, including complex fractures, tendon and nerve repairs, and digital replants at some of the most reputable NHS hospitals. Now back home, Anouska is committed to delivering exceptional care, combining international expertise with a patient-centered approach.

Anneke is a skilled physiotherapist with a strong focus on hand therapy, dedicated to helping individuals recover from hand and upper limb injuries. Since transitioning into hand therapy in 2019, she has combined her expertise in musculoskeletal and vocational rehabilitation to provide tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.
With a deep understanding of hand and wrist conditions, Anneke utilizes a range of therapeutic techniques to restore function, reduce pain, and support long-term recovery. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Western Medical Acupuncture, which she integrates into her treatment approach where appropriate. Her goal is to empower patients to regain confidence and independence in their daily activities through expert hand therapy care.

Jennifer Leaton

Jennifer is a dedicated and experienced hand therapist with a strong background in occupational therapy. She began her career at Middlemore Hospital, where she developed expertise in hand therapy and burn rehabilitation, later leading the National Burns Unit for three years. Her passion for upper limb rehabilitation led her to pursue postgraduate training in hand therapy, becoming a registered hand therapist in 2018.
Jennifer has a special interest in treating complex hand and upper limb injuries, including sports-related conditions. Fluent in Mandarin, she values clear communication and patient-centered care. Outside of work, her involvement in strength and conditioning training, along with her family's participation in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, gives her unique insight into injury prevention and rehabilitation for athletes.

Courtney Ellis
Phsio, Registered Hand therapist
Courtney is a dedicated physiotherapist specializing in hand therapy, with a strong background in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Her experience working with rugby, football, and netball teams exposed her to acute hand and upper limb injuries, including complex fractures, tendon injuries, and serious lacerations. This sparked her passion for hand therapy and led to her transition into the field.
Courtney has since completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Rehabilitation at AUT, further enhancing her expertise in upper limb rehabilitation. She is committed to delivering tailored, evidence-based care to help patients regain strength, function, and confidence in their hands and upper limbs.

Careen Marshall
Occupational Therapist, Associate Hand therapist
Careen is a dedicated associate hand therapist with a strong background in rehabilitation and a passion for restoring hand and upper limb function. She began her career over a decade ago at Middlemore Hospital, gaining invaluable experience in orthopaedics and acute care, managing complex hand and upper limb traumas, spinal injuries, and chronic conditions.
Her passion for upper limb rehabilitation led her to specialize in hand therapy, and in 2022, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation. Careen is committed to providing client-centered, evidence-based treatment, helping individuals regain strength, dexterity, and confidence in their daily activities. She finds great fulfillment in guiding her patients through their rehabilitation journey and enabling them to return to the activities that matter most.
